Chris is a life-long Catholic whose faith journey has been a series of zigs, zags, stops and starts. At best Chris could be described as a cultural Catholic for most of his adult life. At worst, there were long periods of being a “fallen away” and even “anti-Catholic”. That all changed when Chris attended his first ever retreat at his wife’s urging (she is an incredibly patient woman). Despite his fear of the retreat getting “too Catholic” for him, Chris left it on fire to develop a relationship with God that he did not know was even possible just a few days earlier. Within a few months, Chris shifted from being a cultural, semi-practicing Catholic to a spiritual seeker, that put him on the path to becoming an intentional disciple of Jesus Christ.

At an age when most are enjoying the fruits of a successful career and are beginning to dream of retirement, Chris returned to school to study theology. After earning his master’s degree in theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville, Chris shocked his family, friends and coworkers by retiring from his position as Senior Vice President of Global Sales with a multibillion-dollar, multinational nutritional products company. Armed with a passion for the faith and his newly acquired theological training, Chris began his new career by taking on the role of Director of Faith Formation for his home parish – Holy Family Catholic Church in Orange, CA.

Chris has been teaching the Catholic faith to people of all ages, speaking at retreats / missions, and offering talks on a variety of faith-based topics since 2018. In early 2023, Chris expanded his horizons by signing on as an apologist for CatholicQuestions.com - answering questions about Catholic doctrine, practice, history and governance submitted by people (Catholic and Non-Catholics) from around the globe every day. Working full-time to help bring people of all ages into a closer relationship with our living God has been the most rewarding adventure of Chris’ life.

Chris is married to Megan, his wife of nearly 30 years, and has two adult children – Maggie (27) and Eamon (24). Chris continues to live in Old Town Orange with Megan and their two dogs – Jersey and Billie.
